🏛️ Financial Systems & Oversight

TMKS operates under a comprehensive Financial Manual, guided by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), government regulations, and donor compliance guidelines. The Finance Department is led by the Head of Finance and Administration, who is supported by a skilled team and empowered with due authority.

The department uses a 💻 digital, software-based accounting system, which ensures accurate, efficient, and transparent financial tracking across all projects.

📊 Project-Level Responsibility

Project officials are authorized to manage financial activities within their areas, under the supervision and budgetary control of the Head Office. This system allows for both local responsiveness and central accountability.

📝 Reporting & Accountability

📅 Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports are prepared through the digital system and reviewed by the Finance Department.

Reports are authorized by the Executive Director and presented to the Executive Committee (EC), the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and submitted to government and donor agencies.

🔍 Internal audits are conducted regularly to strengthen internal controls.

✅ External audits are carried out annually by government- and donor-approved audit firms, and reports are shared with all relevant authorities.
